Judge's Choice Award

Dave shown accepting his Best of Show plaque from PAPA’s  Exhibit & Print Competion Chair Sibylle Allgaier. Tunge's image, "Abandoned Dreams," competed with those of photographers from the United States, Africa, Puerto Rico, Canada, Denmark, Australia and Germany.

Judge Herb Lingl said the image caught his attention as soon as he began reviewing prints.  "In addition to excellent execution of a difficult aerial subject, the print has, not only the impact to capture your attention immediately, but composition and detail that holds the viewer attention," Lingl said.

"These elements caused me to pick it as my personal favorite. I was delighted to later discover that the majority of the membership of the Professional Photographer's Association also selected it as the best of the show."
